Our Story
Sat DB was born from a simple idea: every student deserves access to the best test preparation materials without a hefty price tag. I started this project after my own SAT journey, where I went from a 1340 to a 1500 in three months, and I want to help you do the same.
This website is my effort to share the tools and resources that helped me. After initially running on a subscription model, I decided to make Sat DB 100% free for everyone, forever. High-stakes testing is stressful enough, and your ability to prepare shouldn't be limited by your budget.
What's in the Name?
On the surface, Sat DB stands for "SAT Database"—a straightforward name for a library of practice tests, but the name also serves as a personal mantra. It's a reminder of two goals for every student who uses this site: to Do Better than you did yesterday, and to strive to be Da Best version of yourself on test day. (I had to make it catchy somehow... right?)
Ultimately, this is Sat DB for me, and I built it for you. Whatever the name means to you, my goal is to provide the best possible platform for your success.
How (and Why) This Site is Free
Sat DB is a passion project, not a for-profit business. The site is maintained through my own personal time and resources because I genuinely believe that financial barriers should not prevent any student from accessing the tools they need to succeed.
